Postcard Series 13: Hibiscus

My postcard friend, Lynda sent this homemade postcard of a hibiscus flowering plant blooming from her garden. She also took the photo! Thanks Lynda!

In the Philippines, we call this medicinal plant Gumamela. It blooms in different colors and are very pretty up close. I also took plenty of photos of Gumamelas. I’m working on an online gallery for that Philippine trip covering various things, people and places- and yes lotsa pictures of flowers, plants and trees. Will keep you posted on that one. [ I hope to finish it in this lifetime! 😉 ]
